christmas pancakes
Making pancakes for breakfast or a snack is always a pleasure, but doing it on these special days is even more so.
These pancakes have all the flavor of cinnamon and cloves, of our mantecados but in pancake form and will be your perfect companion on party mornings this Christmas.
Ingredients
- 150g of flour
- 1 tablespoon almond flour
- 45g
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 150g yogurt
- 130 ml of milk
- 1 egg
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
- ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
Preparation
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and beat well so that there are no lumps.
Heat a frying pan and use a little butter or oil.
To make all pancakes turn out the same, the secret is to use some measure: a sauce spoon, or like me, a small measuring cup.
Let brown until bubbles begin to appear on the surface. At that time we can turn it carefully, and let it brown for a couple of minutes. The pancake will have a golden color. If it wasn't, we'll let it toast a little more.
For the most special breakfasts we can serve them accompanied by English cream or freshly made custard.
