Super easy lentils in 15 minutes.
We declare ourselves a fan of cooked legumes because they greatly simplify work in the kitchen. Today we propose some stewed lentils that we prepare in just 15 minutes and that have all the flavor of what is homemade. you dare? So let's go!
Ingredients:
1 pot of cooked lentils of 500 g
1 potato
2 carrots
1 bay leaf
2 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons of homemade fried tomato
1 onion
1 slice of bread
1 teaspoon sweet paprika
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Salt
2 glasses of water
Preparation
Peel and cut the potato and carrots into cubes. Rinse the lentils well and let drain.
In an Active Pro pressure cooker, sauté the onion and garlic for a few minutes until they are soft. Set aside and in the same saucepan toast the slice of bread until it is well browned. Add the onion back and the fried tomato and blend.
Add the lentils with the vegetables, the bay leaf, the pepper, the paprika and the salt to the saucepan and cover with the water. We close the pot and let it cook for about 8 minutes and that's it!
We serve very hot.
