Drain rack for pasta

I am not at all happy with this purchase; this rack is not well designed as when placed inside the 24cm pot it sits so high up that 7-8cm of the bottom of the pot is rendered useless. Due to this, you cannot cook the pasta with plenty of water because it remains on top.
Can I return it?
