This pressure cooker steamer basket is extra versatile and can also be used as the perfect strainer or drainer, both to strain liquid from cooked pasta or to filter a broth, as well as to let vegetables and fruits drain once washed. Ideal for steaming all kinds of vegetables, pulses and fish, or even to cook hard-boiled eggs at the same time as you boil your vegetables in the pot. Its large diameter means it can also be used to drain oil from potatoes, empanadillas or croquettes after frying, helping prevent them from going soft, or even to filter the oil from fried potatoes before adding them to egg to make delicious Spanish omelettes.
