Chicken with almond sauce
Chicken stews are always a safe option, we simply have to worry about buying a good product and cooking it with love and patience. If we add to that one of our new Connect non-stick frying pans, success is guaranteed.
Do not forget to try this simple recipe but it is delicious and you only have to add the bread to dip it.
Ingredients
For 4 people:
- 1 chicken, chopped and skinless
- 2 garlic
- 1 onion
- 250 ml of white wine
- 500 ml of chicken broth
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 cinnamon stick
- 50 g raw flaked almonds
- chopped fresh parsley
- extra virgin olive oil
- Black pepper
- Salt
To accompany:
- Monalisa variety potatoes
- Thyme
- extra virgin olive oil
- Black pepper
- Salt
Preparation
- In a skillet 24 cm Connect we add a splash of extra virgin olive oil. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and brown over high heat in our frying pan. We remove and reserve.
- In the same oil and adding a little more if we see that it is not enough, fry the finely chopped garlic and when it begins to brown, add the finely chopped onion. Sauté the onion for 10 minutes. Pour the white wine and reduce over high heat for 5 minutes.
- Next, add the chicken back to the pan together with the bay leaf, the cinnamon stick, 40 g of raw laminated almonds and the chicken broth until covered. Cook over medium-high heat for 20 minutes.
- Remove the bay leaves and the cinnamon stick, serve sprinkled with chopped fresh parsley and some sliced almonds.
- We serve accompanied by some baked potatoes for 30 minutes at 200 ºC.
