Keftes with yogurt sauce
Summer is coming, the heat, barbecues and meals with friends. Do you want to surprise them with a rich, healthy and original dish? Well, take good note of these Keftes because you are going to succeed.
4 people
Difficulty: easy
Time: 15 minutes + rest
Ingredients:
300 g of mixed minced meat
Fresh parsley
1/2 spring onion
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
extra virgin olive oil
Black pepper
Salt
For the yogurt sauce:
1 greek yogurt
fresh coriander
1 tablespoon lemon juice
extra virgin olive oil
Black pepper
Salt
To accompany:
pita bread
Purple Onion
pear tomato
Cucumber
fresh coriander
Preparation :
The first thing we are going to do is soak the skewers for 20 minutes, this way they will not burn. Meanwhile we prepare our keftes, chop the spring onion and parsley and add them to a bowl, then add the previously seasoned meat and the rest of the spices, mix well with the help of our hands and leave to rest for 30 minutes in the fridge.
Meanwhile, we prepare a cucumber and tomato salad by simply washing them well and dicing them, seasoning them with pepper, salt, oil and a little chopped fresh coriander and mixing.
We also take the opportunity to prepare the yogurt sauce, for this we put the Greek yogurt in a bowl, the amount to taste, and season with pepper and salt to taste, lemon juice, oil and chopped fresh coriander, mix well and that's it.
We take a handful of meat and put it around the skewer, in total with this amount we get 6 skewers.
We put thegrill with Market stripes over high heat, add a splash of oil and cook our keftes until they are ready, turning them over so that they brown on all sides.
We serve with pita bread, salad and yogurt sauce, an ideal meal to enjoy our meals with friends this summer.
