Terrifying cookies for Halloween
We are increasingly involved in traditional festivals, both our own and those that have come to us from abroad. If there is a tradition that has permeated our country and has come to stay, that is Halloween. We don't know if because of its carnival air or because of its terrifying vision of things, every year young and old eagerly await this party to dress up as monstrous things and make terrifying recipes.
Ingredients
For 15 cookies:
- 120g butter at room temperature
- 95g granulated sugar
- 95g brown sugar
- black dye
- 1 egg L
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 140 g of wheat flour
- 50g cocoa powder
- 6g baking soda
- a pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons of milk
- 170g chocolate chips
- sugar eyes
Preparation
- In a bowl, add the butter at room temperature along with the two types of sugar. Beat well with the help of a whisk.
- Next we incorporate the milk mixed with the black coloring, the amount of coloring will depend on how dark we want our cookies. To give it a more terrifying touch, we have even added a total black color.
- Add the egg along with the vanilla extract and beat until all the ingredients are integrated.
- In a bowl mix all the dry ingredients, flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. We sift them over the same bowl.
- Beat at medium-low speed until you get a homogeneous mass. At this point we incorporate the chocolate chips and mix with the help of a spatula.
- We make small portions and shape it into a ball and then flatten it on our iron Bra Infinity that we will use as a baking tray. By making the cookies like this we will get some large cookies.
- We put the sugar eyes to our liking.
- Reserve for 30 minutes in the freezer or for 2 hours in the fridge.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for 20 minutes. After the time, let cool for 5 minutes and place on a wire rack.
