Doubts about aluminum pans and saucepans

  1. Before using your pans for the first time and after each use, wash them in hot, soapy water, rinse and dry with a soft cloth.
  2. Although it is indicated that they are suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher, it is always recommended that you wash your pans by hand, so that their useful life is longer. Non-stick coated pans guarantee quick and easy cleaning if the recommendations for use are followed.
  3. Do not use abrasive detergents or scourers that can damage your pans. If the remains resist, it is advisable that you leave them to soak in warm soapy water, a little before washing them. This way you can clean them properly, removing the fine layers of food particles on the surface, which char when the pan overheats and can cause food to stick.
  4. To cook with your frying pans, use medium heat power, since products such as oil for domestic use boil at 180º C and a higher temperature is not needed for regular cooking. It is very important that you never use the maximum power of the plate, since your pan could reach more than 300º C and that would damage it.
  5. Never heat an empty pan for more than 1-2 minutes on medium power.
  6. Always cook with your pan on a stove suitable for the size of its base. In this way you will achieve maximum efficiency and avoid overheating the walls of the pan or the handle. If your stove is gas, the flames should not exceed the base area, they should never reach the walls of the pan. If your cooker is induction, remember that the diameter of the bottom of the pan has to be the same or almost the same as the fire on your hob.
  7. With your non-stick pans it is recommended to use nylon, silicone or wooden utensils suitable for contact with food. Metal utensils should be used with care and never use ones with sharp points or edges. Do not chop, cut, or use an electric mixer on your skillet.
  8. It is important that you do not subject your pans to sudden changes in temperature. An example of what to avoid is putting them under a cold tap right after cooking. The thermal contrasts spoil the pans.
  9. If you store your pans one on top of the other, it is recommended that you place a pan protector between each piece, to prevent them from scratching.
  10. When you cook with it, always lift your pan to move it, especially if your plate is made of glass. If you slide it, you could damage both the base and the plate.
  11. Although a good frying pan can be used for everything, the ideal is to use a different frying pan for each type of cooking.
  12. A good frying pan is always an investment. Your skillet should be heavy, nonstick, have a solid handle or handle, and a double bottom.

FRYING PANS LAST A LIFETIME
FAKE. Pans don't last a lifetime. A good frying pan can last a long time if you use it correctly.

THERE ARE CERAMIC, TITANIUM, DIAMOND OR STONE FRYING PANS
FAKE. There are no ceramic, titanium, diamond or stone pans, but non-stick ones reinforced with these elements. The pans are made of stainless steel, aluminum or iron and incorporate coatings.

PTFE (without PFOA): the most common and used for its proven anti-adherence. The most recognized is TEFLON™, which is the most non-stick coating known.
Ceramic coating: little anti-adherence compared to PTFE. Used for its duration.

ONE PAN FITS EVERYTHING
FAKE. One pan is not good for everything. It is advisable not to use a frying pan for all types of cooking, since each type of cooking has its specific characteristics. For example, to prepare an omelette, to sauté or to poach, a medium temperature is necessary, so a good non-stick pan is recommended. If you want grilled cooking, which needs a medium-high temperature, it is much more convenient to use a cast iron grill, or a non-stick stainless steel pan.

THE OIL SHOULD SMOKE
FAKE. The oil should not smoke before putting the food in the pan. If it smokes, the oil is burning and is therefore harmful to health.

YOU HAVE TO COOK AT HIGH TEMPERATURE
FAKE. Food should be cooked at moderate temperatures. Cooking at high temperatures carries the risk of burning food. Likewise, non-stick has a range of use up to 250º C. Above that temperature it begins to break down and lose its properties.

NON-STICK PANS ARE NOT AS SAFE AS CERAMIC ONES

FAKE. Pans with quality nonstick, such as Teflon™ (the only brand on the market that audits the production of kitchenware manufacturers), are completely safe. Its use has been approved by the FDA (Food & Drugs Administration), the NSF (National Sanitation Foundation), the EPA (Environment Protection Agency) and the EFSA (European Food Safety Association), among others.

PFOA has been discontinued since 2002. All BRA products have never contained PFOA.

Whether you cook to eat right away, or to prepare food for the week or to store in the freezer, it is important that you take this information into account, as it will guide you when choosing the size that best suits you. to your needs.

The listed servings are an estimated guide to help you choose your casserole:

Shallow Casseroles:

16cm: 1 serving
20cm: 1-2 servings
24cm: 2-3 servings
28cm: 4-5 servings
30cm: 5-6 servings
32cm: 7-8 servings
36cm: 9-10 servings
40cm: 11-12 servings
45cm: 13 servings

Deep Casseroles:

20cm: 2-3 servings
24cm: 4 servings
28cm: 5-7 servings
32cm: 8 servings
36cm: 9-10 servings

Regarding frying pans, the most common measurements (because they are the most functional) are 20 cm and 24 cm, which allow you to sauté, fry or prepare tortillas. If you want a pan to cook larger pieces, such as whole fish or cuts of meat such as churrasco, you will need one with a larger diameter, such as 26 cm or even 28 cm. Thus, the most important thing to choose the size of your pan is to know what you are going to cook in it.

So that you have all your needs covered, our recommendation is that you choose two pans of different sizes and that can complement each other, so that you can even use them at the same time if the recipe requires it.

It is advisable not to use a frying pan for all types of cooking, since each recipe has its specific characteristics in terms of its preparation and the result obtained will improve considerably if it is prepared with the most suitable frying pan.

For more delicate cooking, in which a medium temperature is necessary, such as preparing an omelette, sautéing or poaching, it is recommended that you use a pan with a good non-stick coating. They are practical and comfortable pans to use and allow you to cook with very little oil without food sticking.

Stainless steel non-stick frying pans are lightweight and durable. If you want grilled cooking, which needs a medium-high temperature, it is much more convenient to use a non-stick stainless steel pan. They require a little more practice with the temperature, to prevent food from sticking on some occasions.

You can clean your cast aluminum parts by hand or in the dishwasher. If you choose the first option, it is recommended that you use non-abrasive products and soft sponges, avoiding those that can cause scratches and that would damage the non-stick coating.

The non-stick coating on the inside and outside of the piece ensures that cleaning it will be quick and comfortable. For this, it is important to always follow all the recommendations for use during its useful life.

To cook with your cast aluminum piece, use the hob at medium power, since products such as household oil boil at 180º C and, for regular cooking, you do not need a higher temperature.

Before cooking with your piece for the first time, it is important that you wash it, dry it and apply a light layer of oil to the interior surface to protect the non-stick.

It is important that you never use sharp utensils or utensils that could scratch inside the piece. When cleaning, avoid using metal scourers and abrasive powders.

We carefully control the non-stick coating process of each piece, in order to ensure its durability and resistance.

The non-stick layer has been designed so that your piece offers you long-term service, as long as the recommendations for use are followed correctly.

Preheating at extremely high temperatures, heating under vacuum, using metal utensils and/or cleaning with detergents and abrasive sponges can cause the non-stick properties of the piece to deteriorate.

In order not to damage the nonstick and preserve all its properties, it is very important to remember the following:

  • Heat the pan, saucepan, saucepan, pot, etc. with liquid inside. Never do it empty.
  • Let the piece you have cooked with warm up, never cool it suddenly.
  • Cook over medium heat. Never use the maximum power of the plate, since it can cause your piece to reach 300º C, which would damage it.
  • Clean your piece with a soft sponge and a non-abrasive detergent. Never use metallic sponges and powders that could scratch it.

Yes. Teflon® nonsticks are consumer safe.

Teflon® nonstick for kitchenware, comply with all regulations and directives, globally, for contact with food.

Teflon® nonsticks comply with FDA (Food and Drugs Administration) standards for contact with food.

The NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) has approved the use of Teflon® nonstick for commercial cookware.

The technology used by DuPont complies with the standards of the EFSA (European Food Safety Association).

Yes, but with exceptions.

Those pieces that are entirely made of cast aluminum are suitable for ovens for domestic use.

Elements such as silicone lids and handles are not recommended for the oven, but the body is up to a maximum of 200ºC.

The handling of any part that has been subjected to high temperatures must be carried out with care and due precautions and protections in the hands.

The pans, like many other elements that are not strictly containers, must be thrown away in the clean point. This is because the pan has different components that must be treated in a special way.

The recycling process of a frying pan

The process that is followed is long, but quite simple. In the first place, the waste is classified and treated, applying selection processes, through manual or magnetic separation or screening. In this way, the different metals are grouped according to material and quality criteria. Once this is done, they go through a series of physical transformations (such as cutting, pressing or packaging). Finally, it is transported to foundry plants, to re-incorporate it into production lines.

Plastic scraps are also bundled up and sent to plastic melting plants, if the plastic is reusable.

Recycled pans are reused in production processes to make objects such as aerosols, cans and jars, household appliances, machines or cars, among others!

Doubts about stainless steel products

Nowadays, when electricity and gas bills do not stop rising, one solution to save energy is cooking in a pressure cooker. Cooking with it will allow you to save up to 70% energy and time.

Its use is practical, simple and safe. You only have to follow the following tips for its correct operation, which will result in excellent results:

Use the pressure cooker respecting the minimum and maximum filling limits, to guarantee its correct operation. Keep in mind that there are some foods that, when cooked, increase in volume.

To stir or mix the food inside the pot, use temperature-resistant wooden or silicone utensils. In this way you will avoid scratching the background.

You can steam cook in your pressure cooker. For this, it is necessary to use the metal basket designed for this purpose, with which the food will be separated from the liquid that is created with the steam.

Once the fire is off, the pot must be depressurized, so that the cooking stops. To do this quickly and safely, you can place the pot in the sink and, very carefully and keeping out of the reach of the steam, cool it under a stream of cold water.

To cook with it, start by cooking at maximum heat until the indicated pressure is reached, which is when steam begins to come out of the operating valve. At this point, lower the heat to at least half to save energy and start counting down the desired cooking time.

If your cooker is the conventional pressure cooker (not the speed cooker), make sure to tighten the upper knob well to avoid steam leaks.

To avoid small white spots or dots at the bottom of the pot, it is advisable to add the salt when the liquid is hot. If these dots appear, they will not interfere with the proper functioning of your pot, they will only affect aesthetically.

Always cook with the pot on the stove that best suits the diameter of its base. In this way you will prevent the walls from overheating and you will achieve maximum efficiency.

To clean your cooker, do not use bleach or products that contain hydrochloric compounds.

After each use, clean it well with the help of lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Dry it with a cloth to avoid the lime stains that appear when it is left to dry on its own.

The pressure cooker lid cannot be washed in the dishwasher. Nor should it be left to soak. The body of the pot can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher.

It is advisable to remove the food from the pot once it is cooked, to prevent it from sticking if it remains inside for too long.

If the body of the pot loses its shine, you can recover it by rubbing a cloth dipped in alcohol.

If a particularly problematic lime stain appears on the body of the pot, you can wipe it with a cloth dipped in hot vinegar. Then wash the pot in the usual way and dry it.

If any food has stuck to it and remains stuck inside, leave the body of the pot to soak for a while, so that it softens, before proceeding to clean it.

The lid of the pot must always be very clean. This ensures that both the closure and the valve work perfectly.

To clean the operating valve, do it under water. To clean your chimney or centralizer, do it with a needle and a copious stream of water.

Depending on how often you cook with your pot, it is recommended that you change the sealing gasket every one or two years. When you change it and before its first use it is recommended that you boil it to soften it.

When your cooker is 10 years old, it is recommended that an authorized technical service check your pressure cooker.

THE PRESSURE COOKER IS NOT SAFE

FAKE. Pressure cookers are carefully designed so that their use does not entail any type of danger. Before use, it is important to verify that everything in it is correct and always follow the manufacturer's instructions.

THE SECURITY SYSTEM MAY FAIL

FAKE. Most pressure cookers on the market have several safety systems, which act sequentially in the event of any failure.

PRESSURE COOKERS ARE HARD TO USE

FAKE. Cooking with your pressure cooker is easy. Its use and opening systems are very easy to use and its design is designed for total comfort and speed in the kitchen.

IT IS OLD-FASHIONED

FAKE. The use of the pressure cooker is very widespread today, both in the domestic and professional sphere at a national and international level. It offers a very versatile way of cooking, perfect for preparing innovative and creative recipes, and also for the most traditional ones.

MUST BE MONITORED CONTINUOUSLY

FAKE. Current pressure cookers have systems, and even accessories, that allow you to control cooking times while you do other things. Even so, the manufacturer's instructions must always be followed.

THEY GENERATE MORE HEAT IN THE KITCHEN

FAKE. The pressure cooker is widely used in the hottest countries, contrary to what one might think, since its use shortens the long cooking processes that generate the most heat in the kitchen.

IT IS ONLY USED FOR TRADITIONAL RECIPES

FAKE. The pressure cooker is the perfect tool for creative cooking, as it allows you to take advantage of faster cooking, while maintaining the textures and properties of the food.

PRESSURE COOKING IS TASTE

FAKE. In your pressure cooker you will get the flavor and aroma of the food you cook to intensify, due to the concentration produced inside. Proof of this is its habitual use by great chefs. The results obtained are as good, or even better, than with the conventional pot.

COOKING CANNOT BE CONTROLLED

FAKE. A curious fact is the influence of altitude on the times of conventional cooking. For example, cooking a rice in Madrid requires around 10 minutes more time than doing it in Valencia. With the use of the pressure cooker this factor disappears, so it will take the same regardless of where your kitchen is.

IT IS ONLY USED FOR STEWS OF MEAT, BROTHS OR VEGETABLES

FAKE. The possibilities of pressure cooking are endless, even with delicate foods like fish. With it you can cook steamed, in a bain-marie, prepare roasts, stir-fries, even pastries!

VITAMINS ARE LOST

FAKE. In your pressure cooker, the vitamin C of the pepper, for example, is practically completely preserved, while in a conventional cooker you can lose more than 30%. The cooking speed is important to preserve more nutrients and vitamins in the ingredients, so the amount of vitamins is greater if they are prepared in a pressure cooker. It is the healthiest way of cooking.

CHANGE THE TEXTURE OF THE PRODUCT

FAKE. As it is faster cooking and without evaporation of moisture, food retains its texture better.

Cutlery gives personality to our table. The cutlery must combine quality with elegance and distinction, without forgetting the essential practicality for day to day. Their design must give them perfect ergonomics and functionality.

Our cutlery is made of the best 18/10 Aisi 304 stainless steel, or 18/C Aisi 430 stainless steel for the most economical range, suitable for contact with food. Its exceptional resistance to oxidation, its brilliance and hygiene qualities meet the requirements of modern gastronomy. They resist acids contained in foodstuffs and detergents and are shockproof.

Our knives are made of Aisi 420 or Aisi 430 stainless steel, of the highest quality. So that they can offer a good cut, with high hardness and elasticity, they are made of steel with carbon content.

For its correct maintenance and care, it is important to follow the following recommendations, which will ensure a long useful life for your cutlery. Your non-compliance may harm them.

Daily use and immediate washing are the best possible care for your stainless steel cutlery.

Before its first use it is advisable to wash and dry all the parts. The cutlery is designed for use with food. Any inappropriate use that may be given to it, would void the validity of the guarantee.

The cutlery must not be in the oven in contact with heat sources or electric plates.

You can wash your cutlery by hand or in the dishwasher. If you do it by hand, it is important that you use a detergent that does not contain bleach or chlorine or free chlorides and that you do it with a soft sponge, avoiding metallic or synthetic scourers. In the case of cleaning in the dishwasher, it is important that you use a detergent with the components declared on the packaging and that the amount of soap and rinse aid is indicated on the container. Do not use bleach to clean the cutlery and the interior of the dishwasher, nor leave coarse salt on the bottom and it is important to clean the filter regularly. Once the washing cycle is finished, it is important to slightly open the door to allow the washing vapors to escape.

To protect your knives, it is important to wash them immediately after use. You should not leave them for a long time in contact with food residues that may contain eggs, tomatoes, fats, vinegar, salt or fruit juices. It is also necessary to avoid leaving them in water with a high saline density and leaving them for a long time in humid environments.

If you wash your knives in the dishwasher, be sure to place them in separate compartments from other cutlery. Once the washing cycle has finished, it is necessary to remove the knives and dry them by hand with a cloth, since drying in the dishwasher is usually not sufficient to avoid risks of corrosion.

You can remove stains caused by the chlorine content in the water with metal cleaner. If persistent stains appear, it is advisable to use specific products for cleaning stainless steel. You can also apply a little vinegar or lemon juice, rewashing the cutlery with detergent as soon as possible, rinse it and dry it with a cloth.

To preserve the shine of your cutlery, it is advisable to clean it once a month with a cloth moistened with alcohol.

Knives are one of the most used utensils in the kitchen, mainly for cutting, peeling and boning. A good chef or cook should have the variety of knives that he needs for his preparations (ham holder, chef's knife, bread knife, cheese knife, peeler, vegetable knife, fillet knife, etc.), since it is not recommended to use the same knife to all.

Like all kitchen utensils, its durability will depend not only on its quality but also on its care and maintenance.

Our kitchen knives are made of special German stainless steel of the highest quality, with molybdenum and vanadium, which gives them perfect hardness and elasticity, ideal for offering an optimal cut.

It is important to take into account some recommendations that will help you get the best out of your knives and resolve doubts about their correct maintenance.

CUT SURFACE

It is recommended to only cut on wooden or plastic surfaces and avoid cutting on hard surfaces such as stone, slate, ceramic, marble, metal or glass, as they can damage the cutting edge. Bamboo is not advisable either, as it is too hard a material and contains silicates, an element that causes knives to dull.

Always keep the blade at a safe distance from your hand.

CLEANING

For optimal care, avoid prolonged contact with food debris and hand wash knives immediately after use in hot, soapy water. Rinse them and dry them well.

Use a neutral detergent and do not use bleach, soda or detergents that contain chlorine, as they corrode the steel and remove the original shine. Do not use acidic substances that can cause oxidation.

Avoid scrubbing the knives with abrasive products or scouring pads, as well as metallic or synthetic cleaners.

Do not leave knives submerged in water for a long time, especially if it is hard or saline water.

To prolong the life of your knives, cleaning them in the dishwasher is not recommended. In addition to taking care of it, you will prevent its edge from damaging the plastic surfaces of the dishwasher.

STORAGE

Kitchen knives should never be stored loose in a drawer, as the blade can be damaged, and they should always be visible, not covered. Proper storage goes a long way in preventing injuries. It is advisable to use a block or knife block, or a magnetic knife bar.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Always use the right knife for each cut and always leave it in sight when you are using it, avoiding covering it with rags or kitchen paper.

Never leave the knife soaking in soapy water.

If you ever drop your knife, never try to catch it.

Always keep knives out of the reach of children.

MAINTENANCE

In order for you to get the best and longest lasting performance from your knives, keeping them sharp is imperative. Use subjects them to edge wear that is easily recoverable with sharpeners. Keeping them sharp extends the life of your knives and helps them perform their function properly.

The most advisable thing is the periodic use of steels or steels to sharpen your knives and it is very important that you protect your hands well to avoid injuries.

For a correct sharpening, the blade of the knife and the steel have to be placed forming an acute angle (of 20º). The arm with which you hold the steel should not move and with the other hand, you have to lightly support the blade on the steel and slide it over it several times, maintaining the angle. Repeat the same movement with the other side of the knife blade, alternating both sides to achieve perfect symmetry.

SPECIAL CARE OF THE LEAVES

Even the best stainless steel can stain. If rust spots appear on your knives, you can easily remove them with a metal cleaner. You can also use a cotton pad impregnated with a little oil and rub gently on the stain.

If the blade is pitted, you can use a cotton ball impregnated with polishing paste.

In case of persistent oxidation stains, you can leave the knife soaked in oil for several days and after that time, carefully scrape the stain to remove it.

Products made of stainless steel can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher.

To clean your stainless steel parts, both by hand and in the dishwasher, in
Most of the time, you will only need to use a mild cleaning detergent or soap (today there are many that are also environmentally friendly). If you opt for the first option, it is recommended that you discard rough cloths and abrasive cleaners and do not use bleach.

You can avoid the appearance of lime stains if you dry the kitchen utensils with a dry cloth, instead of letting your pieces dry on their own. In this way you can ensure that the stains left by chlorine and other substances that the water contains do not appear.

It is important that you do not leave food for a long time once cooked, in the same pot, saucepan or frying pan, as they tend to stick and this implies a greater effort in cleaning, the use of more detergents and the risk of scratching and spoiling your household.

When you are cooking, if you have to add it to the cooking water, do it when it is very hot, so that it dissolves better and leaves no residue.

If you find a particularly problematic lime stain, you can wipe it with hot vinegar, then wash as usual and dry with a cloth.

If any of your pieces has lost its shine, you can rub it with a cloth moistened with alcohol.

Yes, but with exceptions. Those pieces that are entirely made of stainless steel are suitable for ovens for domestic use. Stainless steel products that incorporate parts adhered to other materials (eg Bakelite, glass) are oven-safe up to a maximum of 200ºC depending on the material of each one.

When you use your kitchenware to cook in the oven, you must handle it with due caution and protection, since the fact that the piece is suitable for the oven does not mean that it does not reach dangerous temperature levels, nor that it can be handled without taking the necessary precautions. due precautions and with the corresponding protection.

To keep the lid of your Express Pot in perfect condition, it is recommended that you wash it by hand with a non-abrasive detergent and it is very important that you clean the operating valve carefully. This is the best way to avoid possible incrustations and accumulations of lime or grease that could block its operation.

Cleaning the lid in the dishwasher is strongly discouraged.

This reaction in stainless steel can be caused by overexposure of the product to very high temperatures or by the fact that the hob burner is larger than the bottom of the piece.

There are various special products on the market that will help you clean these types of stains. In any case, this discoloration of the steel does not in any way affect the operation of your piece, nor the result and flavor when cooking food.

Doubts about espresso machines

Currently there are many kinds of coffee makers and options to make all kinds of coffee. However, the Italian coffee maker continues to be the favorite of lovers of good coffee, since it allows you to enjoy the flavor and aroma of authentic coffee.

Espresso machines, also known as Italian or mocha, are the easiest and cheapest way to prepare a good coffee at home, without the need for capsules.

To obtain an aromatic coffee with the best flavor, it is important to use good quality coffee beans, and grind it not too finely when you prepare the coffee.

Another important factor is water. It is advisable to use mineral water or one that has a low lime content and put the right amount, never above the safety valve. Use warm or hot instead of cold, to prevent the ground coffee from getting too hot before the steam reaches it.

Place the ground coffee in the funnel gently, so that it is flush and not compacted.

Put the coffee maker to heat once it is screwed on and closed, always over low heat and without the flame exceeding the base of the coffee maker if your stove is gas. If it is induction, never use the maximum power of the plate.

When the coffee is ready, stir it well before serving it to capture all its aroma and flavor.

For cleaning, once the coffee maker is cold you can disassemble it and clean all its parts by hand with plenty of hot water. Do not use bleach or products that contain chlorine, since they attack aluminum and stainless steel. After washing, dry it with a cloth and store it untwisted.

Avoid using detergents that can leave off-flavours and remove the residual layer that forms inside the tube, on the filter and in the upper chamber. It is advisable to keep that layer, since it gives the coffee its authentic flavor.

If your coffee maker is made of aluminum, never wash it in the dishwasher.

We recommend that you replace the rubber gasket periodically, at least once a year and check that the filter is in good condition to change it, too, if necessary.

Te recomendamos reemplazar la junta de goma periódicamente, por lo menos una vez al año y comprobar que el filtro esté en buenas condiciones para cambiarlo, también, si fuera necesario.

THE COFFEE FROM THE ITALIAN COFFEE MAKER HAS MORE CAFFEINE

FAKE. In drip coffee, the longer contact time of the coffee with the water causes a greater amount of caffeine to be extracted.

THE COFFEE MAKER SHOULD NOT BE CLEANED

FAKE. After use, the coffee maker must be thoroughly cleaned using hot or boiling water, but without detergents or soaps that can damage the residual oily layer.

ALL ITALIAN COFFEE MACHINES WORK WITH ANY TYPE OF FIRE

FAKE. Only the stainless steel or aluminum ones suitable for induction are suitable for all types of fires. Aluminum regulars work on all cooktops except induction.

ROASTED COFFEE MAKES BETTER COFFEE

FAKE. It just tastes stronger. In addition to having possible health contraindications from overroasting and containing 15% sugar, it is unnecessarily bitter and sour.

TIGHTLY GROUND COFFEE MAKES BETTER COFFEE

FAKE. If the coffee is pressed into the filter too much, the result can be a watery coffee because the water vapor does not pass evenly through the coffee, even impeding its passage.

WITH VERY INTENSE FIRE, THE SAME AS COFFEE BUT FASTER

FAKE. When the temperature is very high, the coffee is filtered too quickly, with the added risk of burning and spoiling its flavor.

DO NOT EXTINGUISH THE FIRE UNTIL A WHILE AFTER THE COFFEE HAS COME OUT

FAKE. Do not wait excessively to put out the fire, as we run the risk of the coffee boiling, overheating, or burning.

THE ITALIAN COFFEE MAKER LEAVES A LIGHT METALLIC TASTE IN THE COFFEE

FAKE. Following the advice for use and cleaning recommendations, it will not happen. If you do not do it as recommended and frequently wash the coffee maker with bleach, with metal scouring pads or with detergent, this could happen.

WITH A HALF LOAD OF COFFEE, HALF THE COFFEES

FAKE. The filter must be filled completely, without squeezing or compacting. If the filter is not filled completely, the water vapor is not distributed well and the coffee will come out watery even if only half the water tank is filled.

IT DOESN'T MATTER IF THERE IS LEFT COFFEE

FAKE. If you have coffee left over and it ends up getting cold, it's best to discard it. It is recommended not to drink the brewed coffee overheated, since it loses all its flavor and aroma, ruining the experience.

We have the perfect coffee maker for every occasion, so you can choose the one that best suits the type of coffee you feel like savoring at all times.

Our stainless steel and aluminum collections offer you coffee makers with modern and contemporary designs, inspired by renewed classics, which will allow you to enjoy your freshly made coffee, with all its aroma and flavor.

The 18/10 stainless steel models are high-quality coffee makers with great durability. Perfect if you are a lover of soft and highly aromatic coffee.

The aluminum ones are the ideal coffee makers if you enjoy an intense and great-tasting coffee, thanks to the better accumulation of temperature.

General questions about BRA products

The vast majority of BRA products intended for cooking are suitable for induction, but you can make sure that this is the case by checking that the packaging includes the following symbol:

All the products in the BRA catalog are dishwasher-safe, except for those parts belonging to specific products that, due to their technical characteristics, should not be washed using this system.

A clear example would be the lid of pressure cookers. Due to the technical elements that it incorporates, it is advisable to clean it by hand and in a more exhaustive way.

Another element, such as the timer that incorporates the FACILE super-fast pressure cooker, is not submersible and therefore washing it under water is not recommended.

Aluminum coffee pots are also not suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher.

If you are outside of Spain, please contact export@braisogona.com to assist you with your inquiry.

If you are based in Spain and you need to check your Bra product or find a spare part or accessory, you can contact the Bra Technical Service.
