Squids with onions
The good weather arrives and lighter but equally delicious dishes begin to crave, like these squid with onions today.
The secret is to caramelize the onion, which no, it does not have sugar because caramelized onions do not. It just needs time.
Ingredients
$ already cleaned squids with their tentacles
4 onions.
100 ml of white wine.
70 ml extra virgin olive oil
Oil and salt.
a little chopped parsley
Preparation:
Separate the squid bodies from the tentacles. Make some oblique cuts on both sides. In a Foodie paella pan, sauté them in a little oil until golden brown. Reserve
Peel the onions and cut them into thin strips.
In the same paella with a little oil, fry over low heat for 20 minutes and until it begins to brown slightly.
After that time, add the squid to the pan, and add the wine. Leave another 5 minutes over high heat for the alcohol to evaporate, but be careful not to let the onion or squid stick to the pan.
Remove from heat, and adjust salt if necessary. Finish with a little chopped parsley on top.
